GM owns Chevy so in essence they are the exact same truck coming off the lot. The difference is body style and that's about all. GMC's still use Vortec and Duramax engines. So as you're probably wondering what makes GMC better than Chevy, it's just a personal choice based off the looks. I think GM makes a smoother, bigger, and slicker looking truck.
